Colour Grading.

Colour is one of the most powerful tools in a filmmaker's arsenal. It sets mood, creates atmosphere and tells the audience how to feel, often without them ever realising it.

Colour grading is the final visual layer that transforms raw footage into a finished film. It's the difference between images that look captured and images that look crafted. Done well, it's almost invisible, audiences don't notice the grade, they just feel it. Done poorly, it's the first thing that undermines an otherwise strong piece of content.

At Klaxon, we treat grading as an integral part of the creative process rather than a technical afterthought. Our colourists work closely with the director and editor to understand the visual intent of each project, ensuring that the grade serves the story rather than just tidying up the footage. Whether that means a clean, natural look that keeps the focus on the subject, a rich cinematic palette that adds depth and drama, or something more stylised that reinforces a brand's identity, we have the skill and the tools to get it right.

We grade across all formats and delivery requirements, broadcast, digital, social, and we understand that different platforms have different demands. A film that looks stunning on a cinema screen needs to work just as hard on a phone. We make sure it does.

Colour grading is where a film stops looking like a film and starts looking like your film.
