Podcast.
Podcast has become one of the most powerful content formats of our time. The question isn't whether your brand should have one, it's whether yours is good enough to deserve an audience.
What's includedThe podcast landscape is vast and it's competitive. Millions of shows are vying for the same ears, and listeners have neither the time nor the patience for content that doesn't immediately earn their attention. The brands and organisations that are winning in this space aren't just publishing episodes, they're creating genuinely compelling audio experiences that people actively seek out and recommend to others.
At Klaxon, we help brands develop and produce podcasts that are built to perform. That starts long before a microphone is switched on, with a clear editorial strategy, a format that suits both the subject matter and the audience, and a strong enough creative concept to sustain a series rather than just a one-off. Good intentions and interesting topics aren't enough. The craft has to be there too.
We work with brands, institutions and broadcasters across a range of podcast formats, from interview-led series and panel discussions to narrative productions and documentary podcasts.
We handle everything from concept development and guest research through to recording, editing, sound design and distribution-ready delivery.
Because a podcast that finds its audience is one of the most cost-effective, high-impact content investments a brand can make. We help you make one worth finding.
We'd typically recommend launching with a minimum of three to five episodes already produced - giving new listeners enough content to get a genuine sense of the show before you've committed to an ongoing schedule. For series-based formats, we'd plan a full series of six to ten episodes at the outset, which also gives you the best chance of being featured or promoted by podcast platforms.
Distribution and promotion are as important as the content itself. That means getting your show onto all major platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music), optimising your show notes and episode titles for search, repurposing audio content into social clips, and integrating the podcast into your wider content and marketing strategy. We advise on all of this as part of the production process.
A branded podcast puts audience value first - it's content people choose to listen to because it's genuinely useful, entertaining or illuminating, not because it's selling something. A marketing podcast, in the pejorative sense, is essentially an extended advertisement. The former builds lasting audience relationships; the latter rarely survives beyond a few episodes. We only make the former.
